Leonardo DiCaprio for the cause of green peace
Leonardo DiCaprio
Titanic Jack who is lucky to win a ticket to America and boards the unlucky Titanic stands above all what is called chances and  positions himself in a peak by his extra ordinary quality and commitment to what he does and supports. He is an actor, a producer, an environmentalist, a philanthropist above all a good personality. He loves to play basketball and never misses a match if there is no angagement. DiCaprio has been a permanent guest at Staples Centre in Los Angeles since late 1990s. He is often seen to watch the games with a cap pulled down tight so that he may not be traced out and be questioned about this or that. Though all kinds complexities as a celebrity, he is not willing to miss a match and always goes on cheering the players. "Well, he sits right behind my wife and they get a little rowdy," said Lakers All-Star Kobe Bryant. "He really gets into the game. They're pretty passionate fans, so that's always good." he added.

This three times academy award nominee does something which all the men and wamen
Young DiCaprio
position should do. He uses solar panel for his house to produce electricity and he believes his step, how petty it can be, will keep the world from using harmful elements to produce electricity. He also uses hybrid car for himself. He is connected with several organizations and works with them for the betterment of humanity and safe environment. His official website (www. leonardodicario.com) face book address and tweter address (@LeoDiCario Los Angeles, CA) bear testimony for that. The organizations he works with are World Wild Life fund, NRDC BioGems Defenders, WildAid, SOS Children's Villages-USA etc.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s newest creative project is co-writing, producing and narrating a
feature-length documentary film about global warming. "11th Hour," is the name of that documentary. "Global warming is not only the number one environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity," DiCaprio said in a statement. “We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet.”

This month we can see more of Bar Refaeli then ever before, and visualize what boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio sees everyday.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue profiles 23-year-old Refaeli next week, wearing a string bikini that has become standard attire for SI swimsuit editions.

This cover puts her face and toned body in front of millions of eyeballs, appealing to both men and women, sports fans and fashion critics. This year there are 19 different models throughout the magazine.

Born in Israeli, Refaeli said she knew that photo of her in the water on Canouan Island was the cover shot.

The magazine spends three days shooting each model, starting early in the morning because the light is best at dawn, and have about 10,000 different bathing suits and bikinis to choose from.

In addition to her supermodel career, Bar is trying her hand at movies with the dramatic "Session", written and directed by Haim Bouzaglo. It is a psychological suspense drama-thriller where a psychologist becomes obsessed with one of his patients. The project has a 2009 release date.

Trust no one. Deceive everyone. That's the motto for "Body Of Lies".

The upcoming thriller is based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius' 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio), who uncovers the whereabouts of a major terrorist leader suspected of operating in Jordan.

When Ferris devises a plan to penetrate his network, he must first win the support of crafty CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe), and the friendly, but perhaps suspect, leader of the Jordanian intelligence group.

Although seemingly his allies, Ferris questions how much he can really trust these men without putting the entire operation - and his life - on the line.

When asked about the urgency of tracking down the evil al-Qaeda operative known as Suleiman he says,

''We think Suleiman is coming to America next, maybe with nuclear or biological weapons,'' says Ferris' CIA superior. ''He has all the strings in his hand. And one of these days, he's going to pull them.''

The film was directed by Ridley Scott, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Roger Ferris, Russell Crowe as Ed Hoffman, Mark Strong as Hani, and Golshifteh Farahani as Aisha. It is rated R for strong violence including some torture, and for language throughout. The film opens October 10.

The film is certainly full of explosions, lies, bad neighborhoods, terrorists, secrets and disguises. The script is well thought out, and no detail was overlooked - even while trying to create German street scenes on U.S. street film shoots. But the filming took its toll on the actors.

Leonardo DiCaprio was left so shattered after a torture scene that he was ill for days. The actor prepared for the scene in a former Moroccan jail for months, but had no idea the intensity of the shoot would leave him drained and sick. DiCaprio told reporters,

"We did that scene in the middle of some medieval torture tomb. There was some kind of horrific dust in the air. I got sick for two or three days afterward because of the intense energy it took."
